Indian Artists Network has just concluded its second exhibition of the paintings of 30 award winning artists from all over India at Barli Museum at Jl.Prof.Sutami 91,Bandung from 16th July till 31st July 2005.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr.Dutta, Director of Jawaharlal Nehru Indian Cultural center in Jakarta in presence of hundreds of dignitaries and art lovers as well as Mrs.Barli and Mr Barli who is one of the topmost and famous artists in Indonesia and owner of Barli museum.An Indian dance programme after inauguration ceremony was followed by the dinner party at the museum for the selected guests from Bandung city.

This Indian paintings exhibition was dedicated to Mr.K.M.Shenoy--one of the senior most Indian master famous for his amazing mastery over basic drawing skills.Please click on his image to get more info about him.

In the photograph seen below you can see (from left) Ms.Nia, Mrs.Nurhayati Mardijono( Organiser),Mrs. Nakis Barli,Mr.Barli Samitawinata ( Indonesia's famous artist and owner of barli Museum),Mrs.Tita(Organiser),Ms.Tini(Organiser) Other major members of the organising team who are not seen in the picture are Mrs.Maria Alquinado,Ms.Rini Indrawati,Ms.Nia,Mr.Maisaf,Mr.Abdul D'Jalal,Ms.Evy Ariza,Ms.Rosita Jonathan, Ms.Lydia,Ms.Susi Hendrawati and Ms.Jeanne ( All from Jakarta and who were instrumental in organising our first exhibition at WTC in Jakarta in April 2005.Indian Artists Network thank all of these dear friends without whom these exhibitions are simply not possible.---Ajit Vahadane |
